From the contractor: Setetkwe Environmental Inc We have been monitoring standing water in the known habitats in the Scotch Creek-Lee Creek area weekly since May 16. To date, we have completed ground treatments on just under 9ha of flooded habitat. We have done two aerial treatments of the habitat at the end of Hilliam Rd in the Scotch Creek delta (total 69 ha). Last night we had a Town Hall meeting at the Celista Hall. In total roughly 100+ people came out and we heard from the Chase RCMP detachment and then discussed many topics of interest for the North Shuswap. The top topics that garnered the most discussion were Bylaws and Enforcement, Firehalls and the Health Centre. I’ve attached my PowerPoint slides, and some notes that were taken during the meeting.
