Community Hall Service Survey

Community Hall Service Survey

Community halls and non-profit infrastructure across the North Shuswap—like those in Celista, Anglemont, and Scotch Creek—are operated by local non-profits and rely heavily on volunteer effort and fund raising. Rising costs for insurance, utilities, and maintenance are making it harder for these halls to stay open and support community events and emergency response. In 2025, voters in Area G approved a small annual tax to help support their halls. We’re now exploring whether a similar service might benefit the people of Area F.
