Area F is currently included in the CSRD’s Economic Development and Tourism service, but in 2025 and 2026, no funds have been allocated to support economic development in our communities. As a rural area nearly an hour from the nearest major centres, the North Shuswap has unique needs—including local infrastructure, housing, services, and year-round economic opportunities. We are exploring the idea of creating a separate Economic Development service focused solely on Area F.
